"Our Christmas drama was a beautiful message that left people laughing at times while in tears at other times. We received many wonderful comments. Our stage was set up like an old country store with a store front frame facing the audience and walls on three sides. We had a wagon wheel, bale of hay, checker board, fireplace, old Coca Cola signs, barrels and shelves of grocery items for props. To include the audience, we had the travelers walk down the center aisle while complaining about the broken down bus and also at the end when they left the store. We used as much movement on stage as possible. One particularly beautiful scene was when 'The Stranger' read the Christmas Story from the bible. We put the spotlight directly on him, played 'O Holy Night' as background music, and had a single star that was lit above the General Store. This message was a true blessing to the cast as well as those who attended... Thank you, Eldridge Publishing for having such a wonderful script to share and many thanks to Bobby G. Woods for this beautifully written drama." -- J.W., Director, Monroe United Methodist Church, Lebanon, OH

Man Who Came for Christmas
"We presented 'The Man Who Came For Christmas' last Sunday night and have heard many people comment how they were touched by the drama. Many people could identify with one of the 'crutches' in life that the characters were carrying-- and that made it more real." -- WARWICK BAPTIST CHURCH, HOBBSVILLE, NC
